costs are very affordable and we understand
how important your deadline is.
We can transcribe business meetings,
conference calls, press briefings, interviews,
focus groups, lectures, radio or TV shows, panel
discussions, and seminars. We can transcribe
almost anything we can hear clearly, in almost
any audio format. We are accurate, affordable
and reliable.
We can accept analog formats
like VHS tape or audio cassettes. Our preference
is for digital content files, but either digital
or analog will work fine. In many cities we
can provide location recording services.
How
about cost?
Many transcription services charge anywhere
from $3.00-$5.00 per recorded minute of audio.
Our rates start as low as $2.00 a minute for
standard transcription and only slightly higher
for more difficult (multi speaker) subject matter.
We have standard and rush service. Even overnight
service is available. Get your audio file to
us by 4 PM and we will have the completed transcript
ready for you by 9 AM. Your final transcript
will be delivered via email as a Microsoft Word
document. Just as we do for our closed captioning
business our rates are available right here
on our WEB site.
The Voice to Text Temptation
We understand the temptation to use voice to
text software vs. a reliable transcription service.
The promised cost savings sound almost too good
to be true…. Because they are not true.
Our industry produces thousands of hours of
closed captioning text every day for broadcast.
If Voice to Text worked with a reasonable level
of accuracy, we would be leading the charge
to their door. Followed closely by every TV
station and broadcast network in the country.
But the truth is, Voice to Text still works
very poorly. Errors abound with overlapping
voices or poor audio quality producing text
that is little more than gibberish.
There are no short cuts to getting your audio
transcribed, if you demand accurate on-time
results. The only way to get an accurate transcription
is by physically listening to it and typing
it, word for word. And that is what we do.
